Welcome to Restoring Minnesota!
The Ecological Restoration Training Cooperative welcomes everyone interested in restoring the quality, diversity, and productivity of our ecosystems. If you are just thinking about embarking on your first restoration project or are a seasoned practitioner, Restoring Minnesota has ideas, resources, and opportunities for you. The Ecological Restoration Training Cooperative was established in 2011 by several State of Minnesota agencies and the University of Minnesota to provide training opportunities for both professionals and community members who would like to advance their restoration skills and knowledge. These opportunities include online courses, discussion forums (the “practitioner's network”), Webinars, conferences, and a virtual library of restoration resources. The purpose of this training cooperative is to share the best available knowledge from research and practice to support restoration across the Upper Midwest.
Funding for this project was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).
The Trust Fund is a permanent fund constitutionally established by the citizens of Minnesota to assist in the protection, conservation, preservation, and enhancement of the state's air, water, land, fish, wildlife, and other natural resources.
