Innovation Studies Certificate Program - Graduate Level
In today's business climate, no single approach remains effective for long. If you want to survive and thrive, you must constantly redefine yourself and your work. By completing the Innovation Studies Certificate Program, you'll learn tools that allow you to become more self-reliant, flexible, and dynamic—for your own personal growth and to benefit any company you work for.
This post-baccalaureate certificate curriculum is designed for those with professional lives that center on knowledge, thought, collaboration, decision-making, change management, and leadership. An integrative model is used to help you incorporate your own experiences into the seminars. Instructors serve as skilled facilitators who use discussions, lecture, computer technologies, and laboratory approaches to guide you in their integration of curriculum. You are encouraged to collaborate with other students in seminar learning communities created within the classroom and on the Internet. The seminar structure allows Innovation Studies to remain continuously relevant and at the 'edge' of the future.
This unique learning opportunity enables you to earn valued credentials from the University of Minnesota in an area reflecting your interests and expertise. And, with seminars offered evenings and some Saturdays, it's easy to fit them into your busy schedule.
The certificate program is available at the graduate level and is aligned with the Master of Liberal Studies (MLS) program. The Innovation Studies Certificate Program can be used to meet approximately half of the credits required to complete the MLS degree.
