Great Conversations 2008 Season
This February, the College of Continuing Education will launch a new season of Great Conversations. Since 2002, more than 16,000 Minnesotans have taken part in groundbreaking discussions between prominent University of Minnesota faculty and their distinguished guests from around the world – an inspiring group of visionary leaders, scientists, advocates, and authors who are working to improve the human condition. The 2008 series promises another thought- provoking view of today’s most compelling issues and ideas.

Darlyne Bailey, Dean of the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development discusses the influential book A Whole New Mind: Why Right Brainers Will Rule the Future with Author Daniel Pink.
All conversations take place on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. at the Ted Mann Concert Hall and are followed by dessert receptions with the speakers.
