-
See http://www.cce.umn.edu/stpaulmove/index.html for details.
E-MAIL ADDRESSES FOR MLS/IS STAFF HAVE CHANGED:
-
MLS/IS staff no longer use e-mail addresses that end with "cce.umn.edu." We are now using the central U of M e-mail system. See "Faculty & Staff Profiles" on this Web site.
-
To find other faculty and staff contact information, check the "People Search" option from the U of M Web site.
CHECK YOUR U OF M E-MAIL!
-
It is important that you check your U of M e-mail account. It is the University's official means of communicating with you.
-
If you prefer to have your U of M e-mails forwarded to a different e-mail account (e.g., your personal e-mail account through hotmail or gmail), do the following:
-
enter your ID/password
-
click on "Set E-mail Forwarding and Autoreply"
-
under "Send e-mail to" - click "Other" and enter your preferred e-mail address
STAY IN CONTACT WITH YOUR FACULTY ADVISER:
-
We strongly encourage you to meet with your faculty adviser(s) regularly. It's especially important if you haven't done so for a term or so, if the focus of your studies has changed, if you are about halfway through the program (12 credits or more), and it's time to complete your Degree Program Form and Final Project Proposal, or if you are fast approaching the Final Project seminar.
SEMESTER DROP/ADD DEADLINES:
-
See the "Onestop Drop/Add Deadlines" Web page for important dates.
-
If you need to petition a course for late registration or cancellation, please see the "Registration Exemption Information and Request Form" Web page.
ZERO CREDIT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT:
-
ALL Graduate School students are required to register every fall and spring term in order to maintain active status. If you are unable to register for a course, you need to register for GRAD 999, a zero-credit, zero-fee, non-graded registration option (late registration fees will be assessed). No permission number is required. Please see the Graduate School Web site for information on how to register for this zero-credit option.
FINANCIAL AID AND OTHER RESOURCES:
-
Check out "Aid for Degree and Certificate Students" on the CCE Financial Aid Web site for information about scholarships, loans, work-study, and other financial resources that may be available to help you pay for your education.
-
Apply for a College of Continuing Education or Graduate Liberal Studies scholarship.
-
Watch your U of M e-mail for frequent updates about financial aid.
-
If you have questions about scholarships or other financial aid, contact the CCE Information Center at 612-624-4000; e-mail: cceinfo@umn.edu
