Scholarships and Grants
College of Continuing Education scholarships and grants do not need to be repaid. They provide funding for more than 150 students a year to return to learning, earn academic credit, pursue a degree or certificate, enhance their career, or enrich their life. Awards, which typically range from $500 to $2,200, are applicable to tuition and fees for the College's credit and noncredit courses; admission is not required. Students admitted to the College's undergraduate degree programs may be eligible for larger awards. Applications are accepted for the fall, spring, and summer terms. When you apply, you will be considered for scholarships and grants for which you meet the eligibility criteria.
Select the scholarship and grant application that matches your situation. If you are admitted to a CCE degree or credit-based certificate program, submit the Application for Students in Degree and Certificate Programs. Also refer to Aid for Degree and Certificate Students for additional information. All other students complete the Application for Students in Credit or Noncredit Courses.
Deadlines and eligibility criteria differ on the two applications. If you have questions about which application is the right one for you, or you would like to have an application form mailed to you, please contact the College's Information Center.
Version 7.0 of Adobe Reader (available free at Adobe.com) is required to download the application, which can be completed online. Place your cursor in a field and type. Download and print the application and add the required signatures and other application materials before you submit it.
